SPRIM worked with Aker BioMarine, a biotech company and the world’s largest supplier of krill oil, to identify a new path-to-market for a krill supplement to support symptoms of mental and physical fatigue and joint discomfort, common symptoms for patients with Lupus.
SPRIM conducted qualitative and quantitative research with patients, healthcare providers and KOLs to understand the disease. This research took a patient-centric approach, focusing on Lupus patients and their relationships with their healthcare providers. This resulted in the development of key messages as a foundation to Aker’s strategy and communication plan, as well as a go-to-market strategy considering both the healthcare providers and the consumers’ perspectives.
